Moms Club

The MOMS Club of Sierra Verde is a national non-profit organization dedicated to supporting mothers who choose to stay at home and raise their children. Chapter boundaries are Loop 101 north to Deer Valley and 67th Avenue west to 75th Avenue… the Sierra Verde community!

The chapter offers moms and their kids a wide range of weekly activities including outings (Phoenix Zoo, World Wildlife Zoo, Duncan Family Farms, Home Depot tours, etc.). playgroups for infants, toddlers, preschoolers and school-aged children, family parties around the holidays or just for fun throughout the year, casual gettogethers in parks & members’ homes, and MOMS Night Out (movies, crafts and scrapbooking, dinner, etc.).

Sierra Verde meets every Wednesday at approximately 9:30 a.m. at various locations. Our General Meeting is held on the third Wednesday of every month at Glendale Library Foothills Branch located at 19055 North 57th Avenue, just north of Union Hills. Annual dues are $20.00; this covers a monthly newsletter and administrative costs.

Garden Club

Spring is at our door, that means pruning back frost-damaged plants, shopping for new ones and improving your gardens!!! Would you like to connect with people who also love gardening? The Arrowhead Ranch Phase V Community has recently started a “grass roots” garden club, purely to meet like minded people, visit each other’s gardens and talk plants.

If you are interested in taking part in these informal gatherings, or would like more information, please contact Diane Knight at gardengoddess365@gmail.com .

Currently the group meets on the second

Saturday of every month.
