Our Featured Events
Movies in the Park
Stars overhead. Grass under your feet. Your family on picnic blankets and camp chairs stretched out across the park. Every fall and spring, Sierra Verde gathers around a big screen for a neighborhood movie night that feels less like an event and more like the evening you’ll be talking about for the next month. Bring a blanket. Bring your kids. Bring whoever you’ve been meaning to introduce to the neighborhood. We even supply the popcorn.
Coffee in the Park
The first Saturday of every month, the central park is alive with laughter, free coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts. See kids on the playground burning off their sugar high while the adults do what adults rarely get enough time to do: actually talk to each other. No agenda, no sign-up, no awkward icebreakers. Just good people, a good cup, and a standing date you’ll start putting on your calendar.
Winter Wonderland
December in Sierra Verde has a way of feeling like somewhere else entirely. Bounce houses, costumed characters, crafts, and sweet treats take over our community green space for our annual Winter Wonderland celebration. Kids who were strangers an hour ago are suddenly best friends in a bounce house. Parents who only wave from driveways find themselves actually hanging out. It is the kind of holiday event that reminds you why you chose this neighborhood in the first place.
Christmas Light Contest
We take Christmas seriously around here. Our community entrances are fully decked out every December, and we challenge our residents to match the energy. The annual Christmas Light Contest invites homeowners to go all out, with prizes awarded to the best displays in the neighborhood. Whether you go classic and elegant or full-on Clark Griswold, the whole community benefits from the show. Drive the streets after dark in December and you will see what we mean.
